The all new Synergy2 EDC flashlight is a result of over two years of development. Each light is made with care and pride by just one person, raw stock to finished product. This light has proprietary Frelux™ electronics and firmware. Everything that could be made in the USA was made in the USA including the PCBs. While similar in form factor to the Synergy1 it is different in all other areas. Its an AA / 14500 based light with the following features:

At the time of the first pre-order I have not had the light third party tested. The estimated output numbers based on spec sheets and current draw are the below. Because of the "infinite" modes of the ramping firmware I will list the highs and lows. I will update this page and the manual when I have more data. Anecdotally with daily carry I have seen about 6-7 days using 1000mAh 14500's and close to two weeks using 2450mAh eneloop pro Ni-HM batteries before needing a recharge.

I'm loving this little light's versatility. It supports the most battery chemistries among all the flashlights I own, and is able to put out a very nice amount of flood with the slightest bit of throw in there. The side-by-side configuration and the parallel connection for the batteries makes it possible to use only 1 battery, which is also a neat bit of utility. Despite being wider than most flashlights, the slight decrease in thickness makes it a pleasure to carry in the watch pocket of my pants. Despite not being officially certified as waterproof, it definitely has been submerged and hasn't had any problems yet. This is one of the top contenders for my main EDC light. Take the Vapcell batteries for output, and the Eneloops for runtime. 10/10 light.
The Synergy 2 is a unique light that offers excellent craftsmanship and brilliant output. Definitely not disappointed by the hype from the EDC community.
I have Deadwood, Laulima, Lumen Essential, Oveready, and Okluma custom torches. I have had plenty of lights over the years. This is the best light for the money, period. Good beam, decent throw, and completely adjustable output with a memory setting. 100000% would recommend this to anyone looking. And get some Vapcell 14500, do not waste your money on Ebay trustfire batteries.
I absolutely love this light. I use unprotected 14500 cells but have found that the 3mm longer protected cells also work in it. Great build quality solid and sturdy and good beam throw. I really like the button lockout and the adjustable tension pocket clip. Well executed Benjamin!
