It's very good.
This flashlight is by far the best light I have ever owned. I am not an adenoid flashlight enthusiast that determined this purchase based on data and cold empirical facts. I purchased this because it looked very high quality and it had the feature set which really interested me, at the end of the day it was, "That looks cool, and I want it" purchase. And receiving the flashlight just reinforced the high quality claim, and you may think at first, "$250 for a flashlight! No way!" but when you get it and hold it, your reaction turns to, "Oh, I get it now." The more you look at it the more little details you see. I am a very particular person and this flashlight ticks all the boxes for me. It feels nice to hold, it fits in that little pocket on jeans, and doesn't get in the way, it uses standard AA batteries, and I enjoy it. Initially, I thought I had criticisms but when I put myself in the shoes of other buyers and the builder it makes more sense. Like, for the money there are no batteries included. At first, you think, "WTF? no batteries wat a rip!" But when you think about it, the enthusiasts which buy this level of flashlight are probably just as particular about what type of batteries they want to run, and then, "you get it." Instead of getting flak for including some plebeian battery, they leave it up to the customer to choose whatever battery tickles their fancy.
The best compliment I can give this is the John Grimsmo of flashlights.
This is by far the best light I own! I use it nightly while hanging out on my back porch!
Truly one of the most beautiful and well functioning objects I’ve ever owned. Frelux is on a higher level.
